GTA Online AFK accounts (Anawack) for PC Enhanced

Anawack is the player who made it popular to leave a console turned on with an account parked in an activity, so that the community could run glitches that need a second player without asking a friend for help. Today, “joining Anawack” simply means joining an AFK account, whether Anawack or another player made it available.
Any player can stand in for an AFK account, as long as they put it in the same situation as the account they replace (targeting mode, session type, and waiting on an activity menu).

GTA Online keeps free aim and assisted aim sessions apart. If you are in free aim and you join an account in assisted aim, or the other way round, you get the “different targeting mode” alert - which is what a lot of glitches ask for. That is why every card states it, so you can pick an account that suits what you are doing.

A “Bad Player” is a player who has quit too many activities or destroyed too many other players' vehicles. Those players are gathered into sessions of their own, which only other “Bad Player” accounts can join. If you are in a “Normal” session and you try to join a “Bad Player” account, or the other way round, you get an alert telling you that you cannot join it. That kind of alert is very often what a glitch asks for.

There are many reasons why you may not be able to join an account:

• The account is no longer active, for one reason or another (it will be removed from the list soon if this is the case)
• The account is temporarily unavailable due to an outage, a console/GTA update, etc.
• A bug in the online services that temporarily prevents you from joining the account

If you are unable to join an account, you have three options:

• Wait until the account is available again
• Ask a friend to put their account in the same situation as the account you can't join
• Try to join another account

To replace an account with a friend, ask them to put their own account in the same situation as the one you want to replace. Your friend can follow these steps:

1. Go into story mode or the editor to set the same targeting mode
2. Join an invite only session
3. Press Start > Online > Activities > Join activity, then start any activity and stay on the activity settings screen. The account is now ready for other players to join.

These steps are generic, and there are other ways of doing much the same thing depending on what you need. What matters is that the account ends up in the same situation as the one it replaces (targeting mode, session type, and waiting on an activity menu).
