GTA Online AFK accounts (Anawack) for PlayStation 5

Anawack is the player who made it popular to leave a console turned on with an account parked in an activity, so that the community could run glitches that need a second player without asking a friend for help. Today, “joining Anawack” simply means joining an AFK account, whether Anawack or another player made it available.
Any player can stand in for an AFK account, as long as they put it in the same situation as the account they replace (targeting mode, session type, and waiting on an activity menu).

To join an account on PlayStation 5, follow these steps:

1. Pick an account that matches what you need
2. On the console, look for that profile in the player list (sending it a message makes it easier to find) then click the game it is playing
3. Click “Join”

GTA Online keeps free aim and assisted aim sessions apart. • A bug in the online services that temporarily prevents you from joining the account

If you are unable to join an account, you have three options:

• Wait until the account is available again
• Ask a friend to put their account in the same situation as the account you can't join
• Try to join another account

To replace an account with a friend, ask them to put their own account in the same situation as the one you want to replace. Your friend can follow these steps:

1. Go into story mode or the editor to set the same targeting mode
2. Join an invite only session
3. Press Start > Online > Activities > Join activity, then start any activity and stay on the activity settings screen. The account is now ready for other players to join.
